A high-strength structural material for the construction of long-span structures, private and multi-unit residential buildings, small architectural forms, and more
LVL
LVL is a type of engineered wood product made by bonding layers of oriented peeled veneer (or a combination of oriented veneer sheets with cross-directional veneer sheets) from softwood/hardwood species
Suitable for load-bearing structures of long-span buildings, low-rise frame housing, multi-apartment housing, and elements of buildings and structures
Advantages of Ultralam™ LVL
High Strength
According to tests conducted by the V.A. Kucherenko Central Research Institute of Building Structures (TsNIISK), the strength of LVL is 1.5-3 times higher than that of conventional lumber
Long Lengths
The plant produces panels and beams up to 20.5 m in length, eliminating the need for splicing structural elements
Homogeneous Structure
Uniform material properties along the entire length
Dimensional Stability
The material maintains precise geometric dimensions regardless of seasonal factors, environmental changes, and climatic conditions
Installation Cost Savings
Light weight combined with high strength characteristics helps reduce: material consumption, rigging work, and the amount of transport required
Applications of Ultralam™ LVL
Low-Rise Frame Housing
Private houses, cottages, dachas, saunas, swimming pools, greenhouses, and conservatories
Load-Bearing Structures (trusses, frames, etc.)
For long-span buildings and structures for sports, cultural, entertainment, commercial, agricultural, and industrial purposes
Small Architectural Forms
Verandas, canopies, patios, pergolas, playgrounds, street lighting elements
Building Components
Roof truss systems, floors, attic structures, wall and roof sheathing, floor joists, and more
Door Manufacturing
Load-bearing frame elements for doors: entrance doors, interior doors, doors for high-humidity areas
Furniture Manufacturing
As well as stairs, facade glazing, and others
Cultural Heritage Sites
Reconstruction of old buildings to preserve the authentic appearance and construction traditions of previous centuries
Multi-Unit Residential Construction
Multi-story buildings with an energy-efficient load-bearing frame made of LVL beams

LVL beams may be stored in an open area provided that the packaging remains intact, protecting them from direct exposure to precipitation. During storage, LVL beams should not be subjected to prolonged direct sunlight
